And We’re Back!

After taking a little break for the summer holidays, Mum & Me Paint Parties was back at the easels today, and what a wonderful afternoon to return!

Today was extra special because we weren’t just celebrating our first paint party back — we were also celebrating Mum & Me Paint Parties’ FIRST BIRTHDAY! 🎂🎨

Of course, you can’t have a birthday without cupcakes, so we took a little time between paint, brushes and laughter to celebrate one whole year of Mum & Me.

Today’s Painting: Walk Along the Beach

Our painters escaped to the seaside for the afternoon with our Walk Along the Beach painting. Blue water, sandy shores, palm trees, flip-flops, seashells and starfish all made their way onto the canvases.

And this is one of our favourite things about a paint party: everyone starts with the same idea, but no two paintings ever turn out exactly alike.

Just look at this group photo! Each painter added their own colours, details and personality to their beach.

We were also excited to welcome two brand-new painters to their first Mum & Me Paint Party today. We hope it’s the first of many!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today and helped us celebrate our first birthday. Whether you’ve painted with us once or have been along for the ride since the beginning, every person who sits down at one of our easels becomes a little part of the Mum & Me story.
